Steam and gas installations (equipment) for existing power units of thermal power plants of Ukraine
The project proposes to modernize the power units of the power plants of Ukraine, which operate on natural gas, into steam-gas units. This will make it possible to reduce specific fuel consumption by 25-30% and increase the number of maneuvering capacities in the energy balance of United energy system of Ukraine.

Tasks
- providing full scientific support and participation in the development and design of relevant equipment;
- development of possible schemes of combined cycle plants with the preservation of existing steam turbines and a waste heat boiler for the existing range of gas turbines of a domestic manufacturer
Description
The project proposes to upgrade natural gas-fired power units at Ukrainian thermal power plants into combined cycle plants. This will reduce specific fuel consumption by 25-30% and increase the amount of manoeuvring capacity in the energy balance of the IPS of Ukraine.
