Purpose
Development of technical solutions and recommendations to improve the security and resilience of critical infrastructure facilities of the Integrated Power System (IPS) of Ukraine
Tasks
- improvement of technologies for manufacturing modern power cables with increased reliability and resistance to external influences to restore power facilities of the critical infrastructure of the IPS of Ukraine;
- development of methods to increase the resistance of conductive cores of power cables to emergency electrical, mechanical and temperature overloads.
Description
New methods and electrical technologies for the industrial production of world-class domestic power cables for voltages up to 400 kV were developed to restore and increase the resistance of Ukraine’s powerful power transmission lines to critical electrothermal and mechanical damage, new technologies for the industrial production of self-supporting insulated wires were developed, the use of which will ensure increased safety, environmental friendliness and resistance to extreme conditions of distribution overhead power lines in cities and towns of Ukraine, which will have lower voltage drops and power losses, and the duration of their installation and maintenance will be reduced by several times, which is especially important in wartime and post-war periods.
